The KBI veterinary health facility is dedicated to providing the high standards of healthcare services – from general veterinary medical care to specialized surgical procedures/services – to all the nonhuman primates (NHPs) maintained within the KBI campus. The facility is equipped with surgical and support equipment, and has access to diagnostic laboratories and analyzers, as well as, clinical imaging equipment. Our team of dedicated veterinarians who have vast experience in primate medical and surgical care, can routinely provide diagnostic and therapeutic services and conduct surgical procedures inclusive of tissue biopsies, dental extractions, hernia repair, amputation, gastrointestinal tract reconstruction/repair, and other specialized surgical operations.
