KBI has established a proprietary Animal Information Management System (AIMS) that tracks the historical data of biochemical, physiological and immunological assays from thousands of normal and disease monkeys, reports of biopsy, necropsy/autopsy, pharmacological/toxicological studies, and inventory of NHP tissue bank.  AIMS is evolving to be one of the biggest NHP databases, and a powerful tool for effective record keeping, data mining, animal and project management and veterinary care. The database covers all the disease models available at KBI, and accommodates the needs of different functions including veterinarians, vivarium staff, bench scientists, study directors and pathologists. The system can be accessed via multiple platforms including Windows, iOS Apple and portal devices.
