KBI has the state-of-the-art facilities for breeding, housing and research fully compliant with AAALAC and international standards for 8,000 monkeys. The in-door facilities include an SPF barrier unit, a quarantine building, an animal hospital, a nursery, examination laboratories, surgical suites, necropsy suites and sanitizing areas. The animal cages are at the US Guide and European standards.
