KBI’s experienced scientific team performs PK studies in NHPs. The routes of administration include PO, IV, SC or IM, etc. Biological samples include blood, urine, and/or specific tissues. PK samples are typically analyzed by LC/MS/MS for small molecules or by bioassays (ELISA, MSD, etc.) for biologics.

According to project needs, assessment of drug exposure can also be "embedded" in the efficacy studies, hence providing valuable information for PK/PD evaluations.
